The 2022 Friendship Guitar Festival!

In Spring 2022 we sent 5 young players to perform for the Friendship Guitar Festival in Bad Nauheim, Germany. Their many performances and tours of the historic Elvis sites (he was stationed there in 1959) in that wonderful town captivated the locals. August 27th 8pm at the St. Charles Community College Social Science Theater, the students of the Bad Nauheim Guitar Orchestra of the Zobel Guitarenschulle will return to the Metro St. Louis area for the 2nd leg of the Friendship Guitar Festival and to wow audiences with their wonderful music! Sponsored by the Goethe Institut and hosted by the St. Charles County Community College Music Department!

The 6 String Players

We seek to provide performance opportunities for our students in the forms of recitals, performance groups, charity performances, concerts. Here is a picture of our premiere ensemble group, the 6 String Players.

Dimes For Scales

DFS Kids 2 shopped

During the month of April 2013 our students competed in an event to raise money for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital called Dimes For Scales. Students could solicit donors for each scale repetition they practiced at home throughout the month. In total the students ran almost 9,500 scales and raised $2500 for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. This is a picture from our check presentation ceremony.

Fall Recital:

Each year in the fall we hold our All Studio Recital. The students form groups around their skill level and perform for family and friends.

All Studio Recital 2021:

We returned to the stage this year with a 140 Student Grande Finale of All You Need is Love.

We featured 140 students playing Childbloom content and Beatles music! The show received great praise from all that attended.

Many of the Childbloom Guitar Programs involve their students in performance groups that regularly play in the community. Childbloom groups throughout the country regularly perform for hospitals, retirement centers, schools, libraries and offices. Wouldn’t you like your children to make this valuable outreach part of their lives? This is part of the Childbloom spirit. Come join us!
