The Students
WHAT PARENTS SAY:
“The teachers know how to work with kids of all ages and make it so much fun!” -K. Hughes
My 8 year old son recently joined The Childbloom Guitar Program and I honestly couldn’t be happier that we found this awesome program. Chris is an awesome music instructor. We have only had 2 classes but my son and I have learned so much about the guitar itself. I love that Chris makes sure the student and parent both understand the guitar and what strings they need to practice. He is VERY patient with younger students and we (child and parent) are both excited to go to his guitar lessons. If anyone is looking to sign their kid up for lessons or an adult wanting to learn a new instrument, this program is the place to be! –L. Collins
“Carol has done an amazing job teaching my son classical guitar. From the very beginning he has been completely self-motivated (no prodding needed to get him to practice). It’s a passion rather than a drudgery for him, and a huge part of that comes from having a wonderful instructor. The Childbloom program is phenomenal and we have been super happy with Carol as a teacher.” M.-Donnelly
“My experience with Childbloom is limited to the St. Charles location, but it’s been fantastic. The instructors did an amazing job through a challenging year and went out of their way to make everyone feel safe and have gone above and beyond to accommodate our requests. I can’t say enough about how friendly and welcoming the entire experience has been.
The level of instruction was exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t want my son to be able to just play tab or repeat something on YouTube, I wanted him to actually learn to play and that’s what separated Childbloom from the other programs we checked out. The patience and enthusiasm shown by the instructors at Childboom is awesome and they do an amazing job of pushing the kids while keeping it fun.” T. Ryan

The 2022 Friendship Guitar Festival!
In Spring 2022 we sent 5 young players to perform for the Friendship Guitar Festival in Bad Nauheim, Germany. Their many performances and tours of the historic Elvis sites (he was stationed there in 1959) in that wonderful town captivated the locals. August 27th 8pm at the St. Charles Community College Social Science Theater, the students of the Bad Nauheim Guitar Orchestra of the Zobel Guitarenschulle will return to the Metro St. Louis area for the 2nd leg of the Friendship Guitar Festival and to wow audiences with their wonderful music! Sponsored by the Goethe Institut and hosted by the St. Charles County Community College Music Department!

Dimes For Scales
During the month of April 2013 our students competed in an event to raise money for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital called Dimes For Scales. Students could solicit donors for each scale repetition they practiced at home throughout the month. In total the students ran almost 9,500 scales and raised $2500 for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. This is a picture from our check presentation ceremony.

Fall Recital
Each year in the fall we hold our All Studio Recital. The students form groups around their skill level and perform for family and friends.
All Studio Recital 2022
This past year we had so many students we had to do TWO shows, this is the grand finale of Show 2 with 100 guitar players and special guest Jon Hall, performing Pretty Woman!
